Mark's role as a lighting tech for Highwood High School's musical Once Upon A Mattress included hanging the lighting instruments, setting them and focusing them, as well as programming the lighting console. For this musical he was training another high school student to be the lighting tech for the production, as Mark was the FOH and monitor engineer for this production (see the "Theatre" section of Mark's portfolio for more on the FOH and monitor engineer aspect of this production).
